The University of Notre Dame Mass Spectrometry & Proteomics Facility, MSPF, provides modern instrumentation and expertise for mass spectrometric and chromatographic analyses.

I-Lab replaces CORES on July 1, 2020!!! Please follow these instructions for sample submission:

To Create a Service Request:

Once you have been accepted into your PI’s lab and assigned FOP, you can create service requests.

1. Navigate to the core page: https://nd.ilab.agilent.com/service_center/show_external/5376/mass_spectrometry_proteomics_facility_mspf
2. In the upper-right-hand corner of the screen click ‘Sign In,’ and select to sign in using University of Notre Dame credentials
3. You will be directed to an authentication page where you will enter your University of Notre Dame credentials
4. Once you have entered your credentials, click the ‘Login’ button
5. Select the Request Services tab and click on the ‘Request Service’ button next to the service of interest.
6. You will be asked to complete a form before submitting the request to the core.
7. Your request will be pending review by the core. The core will review your request and either Agree to the work or they will ask for more information if needed.

MSPF will begin a phased reopening on May 26, 2020. Outside customers can resume sending samples as before (please email a tracking information), while ND submitters can drop off samples in the bin located outside B45. The following rules are in place for open access use of instruments:

1) Instruments must be reserved in advance using iLab calendars beginning on Wednesday, July 01, 2020,

2) Windows Remote Desktop or TeamViewer must be used to access instrument data systems after autosampler-based experiments are successfully underway.
